La Chaparra and La Chicharra

 "La Chaparra" is the south slope of the Sierra Nevada above the Andalusian health resort of Lanjarón. At about 1200m, set in terraced landscape by the Mauren heights are the two country houses "La Chaparra" and "La Chicharra". The properties have lots of chestnut, almond, olive and fruit trees in green pastures that cover approx 20,000 square meter directly in the national and nature park of the Sierra Nevada. The houses are about 6km above Lanjaron and therefore are ideally set for tranquillity and have fantastic views of the Mediterranean, and offer many activities including swimming, horse riding, walking, fishing, bird watching, fantastic night skies and star gazing, paragliding, winter sports and mountainbiking.

Modern country house in the traditional style with 4 bedrooms, for up to a max. of 10 people +  baby, open fire-place, bar-b-que area and two sun terraces.

Large swimming pool with plenty of room for sunbathing and a unique view over the Alpujarra valley to the Mediterranean. The Cortijos, built in the typical style of the Alujarras, has its own approach road with parking lot but are also set far enough apart to guarantee privacy. 

 Lanjarón 

Ideal starting point for Granada with the Alhambra, the skiing area of the Sierra Nevada, the unique valleys of the Alpujarra and the white villages and bays of the Costa Tropical.
